Paul Haile graduated Sonoma State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Music degree in 2006. After college, he obtained his Certificate of Completion from the Recording Connection Program for Recording Engineering in 2008. In 2016, he returned to Sonoma State to teach the Audio Recording and Production Certificate Program. He has been teaching voice, piano, drums and cello at Music To My Ears since 2010.

​He is passionate about music theory and incorporating that into the students' education as much as possible. Over the last 10 years he has toured and released many albums with his band, Trebuchet. Paul is also an accomplished recording engineer and studio musician and takes on various mixing and mastering projects at his studio Greenhouse Recording. He has sung tenor with Sonoma Bach since 2006. He lives in Petaluma with his wife and daughter.
