Melissa is a multi instrumentalist with her main being any percussion. She teaches beginner piano, beginner drums, and beginner vocals.

Melissa plans to pursue a career in music education and attend Sonoma State University, she started her love for music in high school when she joined drumline. From there she explored other instruments and music. She enjoys learning new instruments and teaching all about how music works.

Melissa believes everyone should have a vast passion for music, she believes it helps to bring people together as she has met many great musicians and drummers through music and competitions. Melissa has a great passion for performance and absolutely loves to learn new pieces of music.

While having a vast passion for all things music, Melissa also believes that any learning environment should be safe and welcoming. She strives to create that sort of place for all her students and fellow teachers.
