Charlie Whitaker is a native of the Philippines and moved to the US in 2016. She has always loved music and teaching, and combining the two felt natural. She has an AA in Vocal Performance from Santa Rosa Junior College, and is set to graduate with a Bachelor of Music in Composition from Sonoma State University after Spring 2024.
​She loves to sing in choirs, big bands, and chamber ensembles, and has experience performing a variety of genres, from jazz and classical to rock, pop and musical theater. She also plays the ukulele and piano. Charlie has experience as a summer camp counsellor and instructor, teaching K through 2 in basic education and elementary music.
